Privacy Policy

1. Overview
Clip3s ("we", "our", "us") is a short-form video workflow tool. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Service, how we use it, and your rights over it. We keep data collection minimal — we only collect what we need to run the product.
2. Data We Collect
Account data
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth. We store these to identify your account.
Content you upload
CTA videos and any images you upload are stored in Supabase Storage to enable the stitching and scheduling features. You retain ownership of this content.
Usage data
We log basic usage information (which features you use, error events) to diagnose issues and improve the Service. We do not sell this data.
Billing data
Payment is processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card number — only what the payment processor returns (e.g. last four digits, expiry, subscription status).
Social platform tokens
When you connect social accounts via Postiz, OAuth access tokens are stored encrypted and used solely to post scheduled content on your behalf.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and manage your account
- To store your projects, clip libraries, and CTA videos
- To stitch and render your videos
- To schedule posts to connected social accounts on your behalf
- To process subscription payments
- To send transactional emails (e.g. payment receipts, account notifications)
- To diagnose errors and improve the Service
We do not use your data to train AI models, sell it to third parties, or use it for advertising.
4. Third-Party Services
We use these third-party services to operate Clip3s:
- Supabase — database and file storage (EU/US regions)
- Google OAuth — authentication
- Postiz — social media scheduling
- YouTube Data API — channel and short clip fetching
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each integration to function.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data and uploaded files within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)

7. Cookies
We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
8. Security
We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Social platform tokens are stored encrypted. Access to production data is restricted to the service operators. No system is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
9. Children
Clip3s is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
